About Preikestolen above the Lysefjord

Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock, is a flat-topped cliff that rises about six hundred metres straight above the Lysefjord near Stavanger. Its top, about twenty-five by twenty-five metres, was shaped during the last ice age, when frost split the rock along deep cracks; one of these cracks still runs across the plateau. The path to it is about four kilometres long each way, and hundreds of thousands of people walk it every year. In this photo small figures of hikers stand at the edge of the great block, with the fjord and the hills below under heavy clouds.

Puzzle tip: start with the people on the edge of the cliff, then the rock face and the hills, and finish with the fjord and the clouds.
