About The Mountains of Senja

Senja is Norway's second largest island, lying off the coast between Lofoten and Tromsø. Its gentle eastern side is covered with forests and farms, while the outer coast is a wild row of jagged peaks and deep fjords facing the open sea; it is often called Norway in miniature. A national tourist route runs along the outer coast past fishing villages and viewpoints. Hikers climb its peaks for views over the ocean, especially under the midnight sun in summer. In this photo a jagged ridge of rocky peaks rises above a green mountainside, with the blue sea on both sides.

Puzzle tip: start with the jagged rocky peaks, then the green slopes, and finish with the blue sea and the sky.
