About Winnipeg Skyline over the River

Winnipeg, the capital of Manitoba, lies where the Red River and the Assiniboine River meet, at a place called The Forks where Indigenous peoples gathered and traded for about 6,000 years. Later fur traders built forts here, and when the railway arrived in the 1880s Winnipeg became the gateway to the prairies and one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada. Today The Forks is a market and a riverside park, and in winter a skating trail runs for kilometres along the frozen rivers. In this photo the towers of downtown Winnipeg are reflected in a calm river under a blue sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the towers of the city and their reflections, then the trees on the banks, and finish with the water and the sky.
