About Berlin Cathedral and the Lustgarten

Berlin Cathedral stands on Museum Island in the River Spree, beside the green lawns of the Lustgarten. The present building, with its great green copper dome, was completed in 1905 for the Protestant royal family of Prussia, and many of its members are buried in the crypt. Visitors can climb 270 steps to a walkway around the outside of the dome for views over central Berlin.

Puzzle tip: the green domes are the easiest part; the fountain and the lawn at the front can come last.
