About Dubrovnik Old Town from Above

Dubrovnik was once the capital of the Republic of Ragusa, a small but rich trading state that stayed independent for centuries until 1808. Its old town sits on a rocky headland, enclosed by almost two kilometres of massive stone walls. From above, its red roofs, bell towers and harbour are ringed by the deep blue Adriatic, which is why it is known as the Pearl of the Adriatic.

Puzzle tip: the city walls make a clear outline; fill in the rooftops inside them and leave the sea for last.
