About Prambanan Temple, Java

Prambanan is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, built in the 9th century in central Java. Its tallest temple, dedicated to Shiva, rises 47 metres, surrounded by smaller shrines for Brahma and Vishnu, and its walls are carved with scenes from the Ramayana epic. Many of the temples were toppled by earthquakes and have been rebuilt stone by stone. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the pointed towers stand out against the sky; the grass and the stones below come next.
