About Taj Mahal at Sunrise

The Taj Mahal stands on the bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had it built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631, and the whole complex took about twenty years to complete. Its white marble seems to change colour through the day, from soft pink at sunrise to glowing white at noon.

Puzzle tip: the dome and the four slender minarets give you a clear frame; the sky has gentle colour changes to follow.
