About Great Zimbabwe Ruins

Great Zimbabwe was the capital of a powerful kingdom from the 11th to the 15th century, trading gold and ivory as far as China. Its huge walls were built of granite blocks fitted together without any mortar. The country took its name from the site, and the soapstone birds found here appear on Zimbabwe's flag. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the stone wall makes clear lines; the rocks and sky come next.
