About this journey

In 2007 a worldwide poll named the New Seven Wonders of the World, and all seven are waiting on this journey.

Start at the stepped pyramid of Chichen Itza, climb to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and look out over Rio de Janeiro from the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Then cross the ocean to the Colosseum in Rome, the rose-red Treasury carved into the cliffs of Petra and the white marble of the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and finish with the Great Wall winding along the mountain ridges of northern China.
