About Arc de Triomphe from Above, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe was ordered by Napoleon in 1806 to honour the French army and was finished in 1836. It stands in the middle of the Place Charles de Gaulle, where twelve avenues meet in the shape of a star, which is why the square was long called the Place de l'Étoile. Beneath the arch lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the First World War.

Puzzle tip: start with the arch in the middle and follow the avenues outwards like the spokes of a wheel.
