About Nā Pali Coast, Kauaʻi

The Nā Pali Coast on the north-west shore of Kauaʻi is a 27-kilometre wall of green-clad cliffs, rising up to 1,200 metres straight out of the Pacific. No road runs along it: it can only be seen from the sea, from the air, or on foot along the Kalalau Trail. Its sharp ridges were carved by millions of years of rain and waves.

Puzzle tip: the red and green ridges are the key shapes; the white surf and blue sea come next.
