About Cala d'Hort and Es Vedrà, Ibiza

Cala d'Hort is a small sandy bay on the south-west coast of Ibiza, where swimmers and sunbathers share the view with boats anchored in the clear water. Just offshore rises Es Vedrà, a steep, uninhabited rock island almost 400 metres high that is protected as a nature reserve, together with its smaller neighbour Es Vedranell. It is one of the most famous views in the Balearic Islands, especially at sunset.

Puzzle tip: the beach umbrellas and swimmers make busy little pieces at the bottom; the sea and sky are best sorted by their slightly different shades of blue.
