About Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Paramaribo

The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, was built between 1883 and 1885 and is often called the largest wooden building in South America. Its twin towers and great round rose window follow the Gothic style, but the whole church, inside and out, is made of timber. Over the years termites and damp damaged the wood, and the cathedral was closed for many years before a long restoration let it reopen in 2010. This photo looks up at the front with its two towers against a dramatic, cloudy sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the round rose window and the two towers, then the dark clouds and the blue sky around them.
