About Colourful Housing Estate, Hong Kong

Many people in Hong Kong live in large public housing estates, built from the 1950s onwards for families moving to the fast-growing city. Some of the older estates, such as Choi Hung, whose name means rainbow, are painted in bright bands of colour, and their rooftop basketball courts have become popular with photographers.

Puzzle tip: the coloured bands on the building repeat, so look closely at the windows on each piece.
