About Coral Islands in the North of the Maldives

Small round islands ringed with white sand and pale turquoise reefs dot the deep blue sea in the north of the Maldives. Each one grew on top of a coral reef, as broken coral and shells piled up into sand and plants took root. Many of the country's islands are uninhabited, and the fishing of skipjack tuna with a pole and line, an old Maldivian tradition, is still one of the most important ways of life in the islands.

Puzzle tip: the round islands and their pale reefs are the clearest shapes; the deep blue sea is the hardest part, so save it for last.
