About Eixample from Above, Barcelona

The Eixample, meaning extension, is the district laid out when Barcelona's medieval walls came down in the 1850s. Its engineer, Ildefons Cerdà, designed a grid of identical square blocks with cut-off corners, so that every crossroads forms a small open square with more light and air. From above, the pattern looks like a giant honeycomb.

Puzzle tip: the blocks repeat all over the picture, so pay close attention to the courtyards and streets on each piece.
