About Granite Boulders, La Digue

The granite boulders of the Seychelles are around 750 million years old, far older than the coral and volcanic rock of most tropical islands. Rain and sea have carved grooves and hollows into them, giving each rock its own strange shape. Between them lie small coves of soft white sand, where giant tortoises sometimes wander down from the forest.

Puzzle tip: the grooves on the rocks help pieces fit; the water and the sky come last.
