About Jellybean Row, St. John’s

St. John’s in Newfoundland is one of the oldest cities founded by Europeans in North America and the most easterly city on the continent. Its steep streets are lined with wooden row houses painted in bold colours, which locals call Jellybean Row. Nearby Signal Hill is where Guglielmo Marconi received the first radio signal sent across the Atlantic, in 1901.

Puzzle tip: each house has its own colour, so sort them first; the white snow comes last.
