About La Maison Rose in Montmartre, Paris

Montmartre is a hill in the north of Paris that was a separate village of windmills and vineyards until 1860. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries poor artists moved into its cheap studios, among them Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh. On a quiet corner stands La Maison Rose, a little pink restaurant with green shutters painted by Maurice Utrillo, who grew up on the hill. Just down the street lies the Clos Montmartre, a small vineyard whose grapes are still harvested every October. In this photo the pink house and the ivy-covered building above it sit at the top of a cobbled street.

Puzzle tip: start with the pink house and its green shutters, then the ivy and the building above, and finish with the cobblestones and the sky.
