About Northern Lights over Nuuk, Greenland

Ribbons of green aurora twist above the snowy streets and houses of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland and home to about a third of the island's people. The town was founded in 1728 by the Norwegian missionary Hans Egede and was long known by its Danish name, Godthåb. Nuuk sits on a great fjord system on the west coast, and from September to April the northern lights can be seen here on many clear nights, even from the middle of town.

Puzzle tip: the lit houses along the bottom are the easiest pieces; the blue sky with its green ribbons is best sorted by shade.
