About Old Wooden Boat on a Snowy Shore, Norway

An old wooden boat rests on a snowy shore in Norway, with white mountains rising behind. For more than a thousand years, people along Norway's coast have built boats from overlapping wooden planks, a method called clinker building that was also used for Viking ships. In 2021, the Nordic clinker boat tradition was recognised by UNESCO as part of the world's intangible cultural heritage, and boatbuilders still pass the craft on today.

Puzzle tip: the dark wooden boat is the key piece; the snowy mountains and the blue water come next.
