About Pyramids of Meroë among the Dunes

The royal pyramids of Meroë stand on low ridges in the desert east of the Nile in Sudan, half buried by drifting orange sand. Unlike Egypt's pyramids, which hold burial chambers inside, the Kushite kings were buried in rooms cut into the rock beneath their pyramids. The Kingdom of Kush once even conquered Egypt, and its kings ruled there as the 25th Dynasty of pharaohs in the 8th and 7th centuries BC. This photo shows a group of pyramids among the dunes under a blue sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the dark pyramids and their shadows, then the orange dunes, and the blue sky last.
