About Snowy Peaks above Tignes

The mountains around Tignes belong to the Vanoise massif, and just to the south lies the Vanoise National Park, created in 1963 as the first national park in France. Ibex and chamois, two kinds of wild mountain goat, live on its high slopes, and golden eagles and bearded vultures circle above. In winter the peaks are covered in deep snow, and skiers and snowboarders come from all over Europe. In this photo sharp snowy summits and ridges, sculpted by the wind, rise in layers against a clear blue sky, with shadows marking every fold of the slopes.

Puzzle tip: start with the highest summit and its rocky ridges, then the shadows on the slopes, and finish with the blue sky.
