About St Peter's Basilica, Vatican City

St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City is one of the largest churches in the world and the heart of the Catholic Church. It was built between 1506 and 1626 over the traditional tomb of St Peter, with a dome designed by Michelangelo. This view looks along the Via della Conciliazione, the wide avenue that leads from the River Tiber straight to St Peter's Square.

Puzzle tip: the great dome is the landmark to build towards; the buildings along the avenue frame it.
