About Tasmanian Devil

The Tasmanian devil is the largest meat-eating marsupial in the world, about the size of a small dog, with powerful jaws and a fierce screech that gave it its name. Today it lives in the wild only on the island of Tasmania. Since the 1990s a contagious disease has badly reduced its numbers, and wildlife parks help protect it. This one was photographed at Ballarat Wildlife Park in Victoria.

Puzzle tip: the devil's black fur and red ears are the key; the green ferns need patience.
