About Two Jack Lake and Mount Rundle, Banff

Two Jack Lake lies a few kilometres north-east of the town of Banff, on the scenic road to Lake Minnewanka. It is a favourite place for paddling, picnics and camping, and on calm mornings it holds a mirror image of Mount Rundle, the long tilted mountain that rises above Banff. The peak is made of layers of limestone pushed up at a steep angle when the Rockies were formed. Elk and bighorn sheep are often seen on the road nearby. In this photo the mountain and the clouds are reflected in the still lake.

Puzzle tip: start with the mountain and its reflection, then the trees on the shore, and finish with the sky and water.
