About Wombat at Wilsons Promontory

Wombats are sturdy, short-legged marsupials that dig long burrows with their strong claws. A mother wombat's pouch opens backwards, so no soil gets in while she digs. Wombats are also known for their cube-shaped droppings, which they leave on rocks to mark their territory. This one was photographed at Wilsons Promontory, the southernmost point of mainland Australia.

Puzzle tip: the grey wombat is the centre; the green grass needs patience.
