About Yellowstone Geyser Basin

Yellowstone, the world's first national park (1872), contains about half of all the geysers on Earth. Great Fountain Geyser, in the Lower Geyser Basin, erupts from a wide pool surrounded by terraces of mineral deposits, usually around twice a day, sending water and steam high into the air. Photographed at sunset, the cloud of steam glows gold above its own reflection.

Puzzle tip: the dark line of trees and the shining pools make good edges; the steam cloud has soft shades to separate.
