About Yosemite Valley from Tunnel View

Tunnel View is a lookout at the eastern end of the Wawona Tunnel, opened in 1933 on the road into Yosemite Valley. From here the whole valley opens up at once: El Capitan on the left, Bridalveil Fall on the right and Half Dome in the distance. The valley was carved by rivers and later deepened by glaciers, which left its sheer granite walls. Yosemite was first protected in 1864, when Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant. This photo shows the valley in summer, with a deep green forest below the cliffs.

Puzzle tip: start with the pale granite walls against the blue sky, then fill the forest by its lighter and darker greens.
