Colombia, in the north-west of South America, has coasts on both the Caribbean and the Pacific and more species of birds than any other country in the world. Our Colombia puzzles show Cartagena, the coffee region, a giant rock and a Caribbean beach.

Clock Tower Gate, Cartagena
On the Caribbean coast, Cartagena's old town is enclosed by thick stone walls built to protect it from pirates; inside, streets of colourful houses with flower-covered balconies lead to the Clock Tower Gate. East of it, Tayrona National Park combines jungle-covered mountains with golden beaches.
In the coffee region, the Cocora Valley is home to the wax palm, Colombia's national tree and the tallest palm in the world, and the nearby town of Salento is known for its painted houses. Near Guatapé, a huge granite rock called El Peñol rises above a maze of lakes, with a staircase of about 700 steps to the top.
