Guyana Puzzles

Guyana lies on the north-eastern coast of South America, between Venezuela, Brazil and Suriname. Most of the country is covered in rainforest, crossed by great rivers, while almost everyone lives on the narrow coastal strip around the capital, Georgetown. Our Guyana puzzles show its waterfalls, rivers, savannas and wooden capital.

About Guyana

The Dutch and then the British ran sugar plantations here, and Guyana became independent from Britain in 1966. It is the only country in South America where English is the official language, and its people have roots in India, Africa, Europe, China and the Indigenous nations of the region.

You can put together Kaieteur Falls from the air and from its edge, St George's Cathedral in Georgetown, one of the tallest wooden churches in the world, the golden Rupununi savanna, the black rocks of Karanambu, the Essequibo River and the rainforest of Iwokrama.
