About Green Sea Turtle off Kāʻanapali, Maui

Green sea turtles, called honu in Hawaiian, are often seen gliding over the reefs off Kāʻanapali on Maui's west coast. They graze on seaweed growing on the rocks and can hold their breath for hours while resting. Hunted almost to disappearing in the past, they have been protected since the 1970s, and their numbers in Hawaii have grown strongly. In Hawaiian tradition the honu is a symbol of good luck.

Puzzle tip: the turtle's shell and flippers are the centre; the blue water needs patience.
