About Palermo Cathedral, Sicily

Palermo Cathedral has been rebuilt and extended many times since the late 12th century, and it shows: Norman, Gothic, Catalan and Baroque styles meet in one building, and a neoclassical dome was added in the 18th century. Kings and emperors who ruled Sicily are buried inside. Its south porch, with three pointed arches, faces a garden of palm trees in the heart of the city.

Puzzle tip: the dome and the carved arches are full of detail, so start there; the plain blue sky comes last.
