About Palatine Chapel, Palermo

The Palatine Chapel is the royal chapel of the Norman kings of Sicily, inside the Royal Palace in Palermo. Consecrated in 1140, it blends Byzantine, Arab and Norman styles: its walls and domes shimmer with golden mosaics, and its wooden ceiling is carved and painted in an Islamic style. Together with other Arab-Norman buildings of Palermo, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the gold backgrounds look alike, so use the figures and patterns to place each piece.
