About Boat Dock on Lake Minnewanka, Banff

Lake Minnewanka is the largest lake in Banff National Park, about 21 kilometres long. Its name comes from the Stoney Nakoda words for "water of the spirits". A dam built in 1941 raised the water by about 30 metres and flooded the small resort village of Minnewanka Landing, whose ruins now lie underwater and can be visited by divers. In summer tour boats leave from the dock for cruises along the lake. In this photo boats are tied up at the wooden dock below forested mountains.

Puzzle tip: start with the boats and the dock, then the forested slopes, and finish with the water and sky.
