About Bow Lake, Icefields Parkway

Bow Lake lies right beside the Icefields Parkway, about 35 kilometres north of Lake Louise, at nearly 1,920 metres. It is fed by the Bow Glacier, which hangs from the Wapta Icefield, and it is the source of the Bow River, which flows through Banff and Calgary on its way to the prairies. The lake is one of the largest in Banff National Park and usually stays frozen until June. In this photo rocky mountains and their reflections rise above the turquoise water.

Puzzle tip: start with the mountains and their reflections, then the shoreline, and finish with the turquoise water.
