About Autumn Colours over a Lake in Algonquin Park

Algonquin Park is one of the best places to see the fall colours in Ontario, Canada. Created in 1893, it is the oldest provincial park in Ontario, a land of maple forests and more than two thousand lakes, three hours north of Toronto. In late September and early October its sugar maples and red maples turn scarlet and orange, and visitors fill the lookout trails along Highway 60. In this photo a deep blue lake with wooded islands lies below a rocky lookout, framed by red and gold trees and bare dead pines.

Puzzle tip: start with the blue lake and the islands, then the red and orange trees in front, and finish with the hills and the sky.
