About Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima

The Atomic Bomb Dome was built in 1915 as an exhibition hall for the products of Hiroshima Prefecture, designed by the Czech architect Jan Letzel. On 6 August 1945 the first atomic bomb used in war exploded almost directly above it. The building was gutted, but part of its walls and the steel frame of its dome were left standing, and they have been kept as a memorial to the victims and a call for peace. It became a World Heritage Site in 1996.

Puzzle tip: start with the steel dome and the ruined walls, then the stone blocks in front, and finish with the trees and the sky.
