About Kyoto Tower above the City

Kyoto Tower, opposite Kyoto Station, was completed in 1964 and is 131 metres tall, the tallest structure in the city. Its slender white shape was designed to look like a candle, or a lighthouse watching over the old capital. Kyoto has strict limits on the height of buildings to protect its temples and views of the hills, so the tower stands out clearly above the low rooftops. This photo shows the tower rising over the city centre, with the mountains under heavy clouds behind.

Puzzle tip: start with the white tower, then the buildings around its base, and finish with the mountains and the clouds.
