About Horses and Autumn Maples near North Hatley

In the fall, horses graze under red and orange maples on a farm near North Hatley, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. This rolling countryside between Montreal and the border of Vermont was settled in the late eighteenth century by Loyalists who left the United States after the American Revolution, and many villages still have their English names. Today the region's farms, orchards and cheese makers welcome visitors, especially when the maples change colour in late September and early October. In this photo two brown horses graze in a field behind a white fence, under bright red and yellow trees.

Puzzle tip: start with the two horses and the white fence, then the bright red tree, and finish with the yellow trees and the field.
