About The London Eye on the South Bank

The London Eye is a giant observation wheel on the South Bank of the Thames, opened to celebrate the new millennium. It stands 135 metres high and carries 32 glass capsules, turning so slowly that passengers simply step on and off while it moves. A full turn takes about half an hour, and on a clear day the view reaches up to 40 kilometres.

Puzzle tip: the thin spokes of the wheel are tricky, so start with its rim and the river bank below.
