About Decorated Walls of Lahore Fort

Lahore Fort stands at the north-western corner of the walled old city of Lahore. Its present walls were built by the Mughal emperor Akbar from 1566, and his successors Jahangir and Shah Jahan added palaces, halls and gardens inside. One of its walls, the Picture Wall, is about 450 metres long and covered with glazed tiles and mosaics showing elephant fights, angels, polo players and hunting scenes. Lahore Fort and the nearby Shalimar Gardens have been a World Heritage Site since 1981.

Puzzle tip: the patterns repeat across the wall, so follow the lines of the arches and panels to place the pieces.
