About Rocky Coast of Ayia Napa from the Air

The coast around Ayia Napa, in the south-east of Cyprus, is famous for some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean. Between the resort and Cape Greco the shore is a line of low limestone cliffs, cut into coves, sea caves and natural arches, with paths along the top for walkers and cyclists. Cape Greco itself is a protected national forest park, where wild flowers bloom in spring and divers explore underwater caves. Ayia Napa grew around a 16th-century monastery, which still stands in the middle of the town. In this aerial photo turquoise water shines over pale rocks along the cliffs.

Puzzle tip: follow the line where the pale rock meets the water; the green land on the left comes last.
