About Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo

From the hills south of the Arno, the whole historic centre of Florence spreads out below: the red dome of the cathedral, Giotto's bell tower and the tall tower of the Palazzo Vecchio. Florence was the cradle of the Renaissance, home to artists such as Leonardo, Michelangelo and Botticelli, and its centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Apennine mountains rise in the distance.

Puzzle tip: the dome and the towers are easy landmarks; the rooftops around them need patience.
