About Forest Waterfall near Sogeri

The Sogeri Plateau rises inland from Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, and its cooler air and forests have long drawn people out of the hot coastal city. Rivers such as the Laloki cut deep gorges and fall in waterfalls as they drop from the plateau towards the coast. Near Sogeri begins the Kokoda Track, the famous 96-kilometre trail across the Owen Stanley Range, where Australian and Japanese soldiers fought in 1942. This aerial photo shows a waterfall pouring into a dark green pool between reddish rocks and thick forest.

Puzzle tip: start with the white waterfall and the reddish rocks, then the dark pool and the green forest all around.
