About Granite Rocks and Water, Bauchi State

Bauchi State lies in northeastern Nigeria, where the high Jos Plateau slopes down to the wide savanna. Its landscape is dotted with granite outcrops, smooth rocks that were once deep underground and have been laid bare by millions of years of erosion. The state is best known for Yankari National Park, with elephants and the warm Wikki Springs. In this photo a long, rounded rock and a few trees are reflected in calm, clear water under an open sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the grey rock and its reflection, then the trees on the shore, and leave the open sky and still water for last.
