About Port Lympia, Nice

Port Lympia, the old harbour of Nice, was dug in the 18th century at the foot of Castle Hill. Its quays are lined with Italian-style buildings painted in warm reds, yellows and ochres, a reminder that Nice belonged to the Kingdom of Sardinia until 1860. Fishing boats, yachts and ferries to Corsica share its sheltered waters.

Puzzle tip: the white boats and the coloured buildings are easy to sort; the sea and sky come last.
