About Colourful Houses of Porto

Porto's old houses are narrow and tall, often painted in bright colours or covered in decorative tiles, with wrought-iron balconies and washing hanging from the windows. They climb the steep slopes above the River Douro in tight rows, so that from the far bank the city looks like a colourful wall. The historic centre has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.

Puzzle tip: every house is a different colour, which makes it easier to sort the pieces into groups.
