About Akershus Fortress, Oslo

Akershus Fortress was built around 1300 by King Haakon V to protect Oslo from attack by sea, and it has never been captured by an enemy in battle. In the 17th century King Christian IV turned it into a Renaissance royal residence. Today it is still a military area, with museums, the royal mausoleum and green lawns open to the public.

Puzzle tip: the stone walls and the pointed roofs are the key; the sky comes last.
