About Zoravor Church, Yerevan

The Church of the Holy Mother of God, known as Zoravor, is one of the oldest surviving churches in central Yerevan. It was built in the 1690s, after a great earthquake had destroyed much of the city, and was paid for by a wealthy merchant. The small church stands in a quiet courtyard, beside a chapel that is said to hold the grave of the apostle Ananias.

Puzzle tip: the domes and the reddish stone are easy to spot; the blue sky comes last.
